We had a great experience as first time visitors at this resort.
The staff was super friendly and accomodating, they even upgraded our room to an ocean view after asking if they had any available thanks Amanda!!
The restaurant Emily's seemed like a nice place to have dinner but our server didn't have the best customer service skills.
She didn't greet us properly at all, just walked up to our table after a while and asked "do you know what you guys want' no smile or welcoming vibe.
She was also making faces and different gestures at the host for seating her new tables while she was trying to take our order.
Food was fine, would probably be back and hope for a little better service.
Casino isn't huge but they do have a lot of machines and tables.
We had a good time overall.
Went to ocean shores to have a weekend away from the kids and to spend money at the casino.
Very few games to choose from and kinda older games.
Not a lot of table games to choose from.
Ate at Emily's and the food was very good.
Didn't stay at the casino but there's lots of signs saying it was voted best casino and hotel but not much competition so must not be a hard choice.
If it was anything like the casino then it must be old and outdated and few things to do.
Next time I think I'll choose a different place to visit.

And, if you have not had "old school " pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy for a long time, this is the best.

Pie slices looked like they were cut and put on the plates last week.

The mashed potatoes were real, the steak was a nice mid-rare, the pork and ribs were great.
The fried chicken was good, a little dry, but tasty.
Didn't win a dime but I got my money's worth out of that buffet, tell you what.
If anything I underthunk it and didn't get creative enough.
If I had to do over I probably would have had a tri-tip steak Caesar salad and shredded the rib meat from the fall-off-the-bone ribs onto a hamburger bun and topped it with cheese, fried onions, and creamy horseradish.
I might have also wrapped a piece of the crusted cod in crispy fried chicken skin, and had that on a bun with lettuce, pickle, coleslaw and tartar sauce.
The buffet had very few choices and some looked not very appealing.
I will say the Prime Rib was good.
The Clam Chowder was well below holding temperature!!!!
When you pay at the cashier the visa machine gives you the option to tip.
Lowest amount being 18.
So when she brought the silver ware I asked for a water and was told it's self serve go ahead and get it.
I asked why I put a 18% tip on my visa and was promptly told to bus your table.
I don't tip a Busser that doesn't even get my drink 18%.
Would not recommend this place at all.
If you do come watch what you put on your visa.
Go over to the coast to spend some time on the beach a couple times a month.
Typically we will pop in to the casino on our way home.
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be popping in there again any time soon.

So far no maid service.
Staying 2 nights but wish we'd booked elsewhere.
We have a view of the parking lot instead of the Ocean, so we'd sure miss that.
We stay in lots of hotels but have never had to sign a waiver against damage before.
What kind of low life guests do they normally get here?
Big comfy beds, great spa massages, fluffy robes and desserts.
I haven't tried regular food here yet but the desserts are huge and cheap and yummy!!!!!

I went to 3 different ones and they kept saying I had way less than I had, even though I didn't use it.

Finally I just told them to take me out of their system.

I found a couple slots that I was familiar with, after dumping in the money it soon became apparent that reviews of tight slots were not exagerated.
Not sure how everyone else was doing but we left after only being there an hour.
Loosen up the machines a bit and folks will stay longer and spend more.
I'm comparing this to Muckleshoots, Emerald Queen, andemployees, food, and atmosphere is severely lacking at those places.

Food was fine, would probably be back and hope for a little better service.

I don't tip a Busser that doesn't even get my drink 18%.
Would not recommend this place at all.

All the staff were wonderful.
My wife and I were there for bikers weekend.
It was busy, but they handled it well.
We ate at the buffet.
You know how casino buffet food is usually just ok, but there is lots of it.
This buffet was wonderful.
I had prime rib and it was great.
I even had dessert, and that was great too.
We will be staying again.

They said they didn't have anyone that could help me.
The machines kept saying my card was involved.
They gave me a new card and the same thing.
Finally I just told them to take me out of their system.

Not sure how everyone else was doing but we left after only being there an hour.
Loosen up the machines a bit and folks will stay longer and spend more.

The restaurant Emily's seemed like a nice place to have dinner but our server didn't have the best customer service skills.
She didn't greet us properly at all, just walked up to our table after a while and asked "do you know what you guys want' no smile or welcoming vibe.
She was also making faces and different gestures at the host for seating her new tables while she was trying to take our order.
Food was fine, would probably be back and hope for a little better service.
Casino isn't huge but they do have a lot of machines and tables.

Lowest amount being 18.

I asked south beach real estate I put a 18% tip on my visa and was promptly told to bus your table.
I don't tip a Busser that doesn't even get my drink 18%.
Would not recommend this place at all.

The only negative I would give is that they need to have air filters to filter out some of that smoke.

Food was fine, would probably be back and hope for a little better service.

I was pretty impressed with the buffet.
It had some stuff I wouldn't get again rolls, chowder, coleslaw and pizza were all crap but a surprising number of items I was really happy with.
The cod was delicious and the salmon was good.
Cut into the thickest part of the salmon though, the ends are over cooked.
The mashed potatoes were real, the steak was a nice mid-rare, the pork and ribs were great.
The fried chicken was good, a little dry, but tasty.
Didn't win a dime but I got my money's worth out of that buffet, tell you what.
If anything I underthunk it and didn't get creative enough.
If I had to do over I probably would have had a tri-tip steak Caesar salad and shredded the rib meat from the fall-off-the-bone ribs onto a hamburger bun and topped it with cheese, fried onions, and creamy horseradish.
I might have also wrapped a piece of the crusted cod in crispy fried chicken skin, and had that on a bun with lettuce, pickle, coleslaw and tartar sauce.

Lowest amount being 18.
So when she brought the silver ware I asked for a water and was told it's self serve go ahead and get it.
I asked why I put a 18% tip on my visa and was promptly told to bus your table.
I don't tip a Busser that doesn't even get my drink 18%.
Would not recommend this place at all.

We have a view of the parking lot instead of the Ocean, so we'd sure miss that.

She didn't greet us properly at all, just walked up to our table after a while and asked "do you know what you guys want' no smile or welcoming vibe.
She was also making faces and different gestures at the host for seating her new tables while she was trying to take our order.
Food was fine, would probably be back and hope for a little better service.

I might have also wrapped a piece of the crusted cod in crispy fried chicken skin, and had that on a bun with lettuce, pickle, coleslaw and tartar sauce.
The buffet had very few choices and some looked not very appealing.
I will say the Prime Rib was good.

Food was fine, would probably be back and hope for a little better service.

Very few games to choose from and kinda older games.
Not a lot of table games to choose from.
Ate at Emily's and the food was very good.
Didn't stay at the casino but there's lots of signs saying it was voted best casino and hotel but not much competition so must not be a hard choice.
If it was anything like the casino then it must be old and outdated and few things to do.

Seniors hour from 4:00-5:00 four days a week.
And, if you have not had "old school " pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy for a long time, this is the best.

Staff has always been very friendly.
The lunch buffet is nice.
There is a nice selection with breakfast items, salad bar, soup, chicken, potatoes, desserts and more.
There could be a little more choices but it's still a good deal for what you pay.

I already posted regarding this place but felt that I needed to cover all bases so anyone else considers twice about staying or eating here.
The servers were rude the food was horrible plates were hot food was cold and bland.
My family and myself were treated like we were a Inconvenience!!

I was pretty impressed with the buffet.
It had some stuff I wouldn't get again rolls, chowder, coleslaw and pizza were all crap but a surprising number of items I was really happy with.
The cod was delicious and the salmon was good.
Cut into the thickest part of the salmon though, the ends are over cooked.
The mashed potatoes were real, the steak was a nice mid-rare, the pork and ribs were great.
The fried chicken was good, a little dry, but tasty.

the spaces face the ocean, but cant really see it unless you are about 5 feet off the ground. You can walk to the beach from the casino. $5 on weekdays, $10 on weekends. for $20, you can use the pool and hottub for your entire stay.
