A friend told me it moved so slow it could not climb a slanted curve, which I guess low demand made it rare.
I like the box graphics a lot.
The prices recently realized appear to be twice current market value, probably due to two guys doubling their bids in an attempt to make sure of getting it.

I remember when they came out that they were very slow, almost like they were too heavy, and the Cortina brakes didn't work properly and slowed them down as well.

I also think he is mistaken about assembling the light as I remember it came already assembled.

If the car is damaged, there is no harm to play with it, but even amaged it is quite valuable, so if I were you I would play with something else, try to get the ar back to near pristine condition through a restoration process and hunt for the clear plastic box and replacement inner packing.

Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
WORKS GREAT ONLY HAD 16 PEICES OF TRACK.
I ADDED ANOTHER 13 PIECE.
All vintage batman slot car and pieces are in used, played condition with varying amounts of wear.
Scuffs and scratches are pr.
Sealed on unpunched card, never opened.
There are action features on the car.
There is a rocket launcher to propeller rockets from three pipes on the back.
The car has never been played with, I took it out of the original box to take pictures.
I don't see any faults with the car.
All of the gadgets, rockets, envelope, patch, and instructions.
Used 1995 dc comics superman red flying car by hasbro, car is in very good condition all stickers are still on car and are not peeling.
